Dear Tribal Elders,

Greetings, to all of our Tribal Elders. During our March 8th, Sunday General meeting the question arose as to what the minimum age limit is on the Elders Committee. It was at this time that I made statements to clear up any doubt that the Elders Committee has continued to be 55 years of age since we adopted the rule back on October 2007.

Effective immediately and forever to stand, the minimum age requirement for participation on the Tribal Elders Committee remains at 55. I strongly urge everyone 55 years and older to attend our next Elders Tribal Meeting on April 4th at 11:00 am. Tribal Elders interested in attending the meeting who may need transportation can contact our Tribal Council Secretary at 774-238-6999 to coordinate transportation. I would like to thank all of our Elders who have dedicated their commitment in time and resources over the years through their service on the Tribal Elders Committee. It is with great hope and encouragement that our Tribal Elders will continue to teach and lead the way to healing our community through (PURL) peace, unity, respect and love.
